This February, I am the host for Words for Wednesday. Words for Wednesday was started by Delores and now is being continued by various bloggers with Elephant's Child as our coordinator. The aim of Words for Wednesday is to encourage us to write using some or all of the prompts.
You may write your piece in the comments or post it on your blog. If
posting on your blog, please leave a direct link to the post so we can
all visit you. Have fun writing!
This week's prompts are:

Her soul usually offered a brillant (very bright) light on the world … a little like the moon on a clear winter's day …
ReplyDeleteJust at the moment she felt dulled and out of sorts – perhaps breakfast would help … and once that important meal of the day had been consumed she'd feel better.
Heres' to health … and thank you Lissa for putting these on for us.
Cheers Hilary
Hilary Melton-Butcher: I'm sorry, I have misspelled brilliant and has corrected it although my spellcheck didn't seem to catch that.
DeleteI'm like her, I need breakfast before I can think. Great use of the prompts.

ReplyDeleteChristine: I hope we all do. Thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
DeleteMy soul soared at the brilliant sunshine as I ate breakfast. Winter days... the sun could be in short supply. And yet a winter moon had its onw beauty.
ReplyDeleteGreg: This is lovely. I like how you used the prompts.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I wrote a shortie. Anso published on my blog.
ReplyDeleteAfter some soul searching Sue had a brillant idea. After breakfast she would suggest a winter holiday, where she and Bill went night skiing under the full moon.
Charlotte: I read your shortie. It was good use of the prompts. Sorry about the misspelling.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I ran a spell check after posting here - of course - and it caught it, so now it's corrected on my blog.
DeleteThanks for the Words.
My take on the prompts is here: Fiction: Fiction: The Insomniac Nighthawk
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, everyone.
