Retitling Books As How-To Titles

top ten tuesday + books
This week's Top Ten Tuesday is a Freebie which means I choose my own topic. So I'm listing books I'll most likely never read and turned them into how-to titles that I make up based synopses and reviews. If I'm wrong about any of these, feel free to correct me. I added links for book info in case you actually want to read them. And remember, these are for fun.

Be aware: There are spoilers for The Midnight Library by Matt Haig; Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia; maybe You by Caroline Kepnes and maybe Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.

  2. What a fun idea! I've read most of these (and really enjoyed most of them) and I find these new titles perfectly accurate. The Maidens' title is particularly on point (it's one I didn't enjoy though!)

    1. Kay: I'm glad I got them right. Lots of people didn't enjoy The Maidens so I'm not surprised that you didn't.

  4. The CoHo one made me laugh so hard. Cheat Like a Man made me laugh too and if that were the real book I might be tempted to read it just to see where she goes with that!

Riley Sager I've been thinking of trying. and the Micaelides book too since I saw it on a dark academia list or something somewhere...

    1. Greg: I still don't get why people like CoHo's books. It would be amusing to read such book as Cheat like a man but what man would be honest when it comes to cheating?

I haven't read any thrillers but Riley Sager seems to be popular as is Michaelides' books. I hope you like their books although I would recommend trying the other ones instead of my two titles I have on my list.

Thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
