I don't want to say I'm naturally grumpy but I am a moody person. And if I'm not moody, I'm sort of indifference or at least I pretend to be. Why do people assume a person have to be happy to be, well, happy? It's good to feel good but we can't be in a good mood all the time. When I'm in a bad mood, it takes me awhile to get out of my grumpiness. Sometimes I don't want to think at all so I watch youtube or do something that didn't require too much brain power. My mind needs relaxation or at least, some distraction from thinking the bad things that make me grumpy.
What do you do when you're grumpy?
For tomorrow, the letter H, the choices are (1) headphones, (2) hello, (3) hate. Choose which word I might ramble about or tell a story.

Hope you are not feeling grumpy today. Some days are just like that though.
ReplyDeleteKristin: At the moment, I'm not grumpy but things could change that. But yes, some days are just like that.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I go into the garden, read a book or go back to bed when I am grumpy. H ? No vote from me, I will be happy to read whatever you put up.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child: Read a book, yes. I don't garden but watching nature cheers me up.

When I'm grumpy, I try to do something fun or enjoyable to lift my spirits! For tomorrow's word, I vote for headphones.
ReplyDeleteDebra: That sounds like a good idea - something to enjoy.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
JAmie (jannghi.blogspot.com): I vote for headphones, too.
ReplyDeleteJamie: Thanks for voting. And thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.

ReplyDeleteChristine: Yes, resting is good way to get less grumpy.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I choose the word "headphones" for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm tired, I'm also grumpy and I definitely need a rest!
Have a nice day Lisa🌷
Katerina: Sometimes being tired makes me grumpy too. So a good rest is good even if you're not grumpy.

I usually talk it out rationally and then try to move on. But that doesn't always work, so I try to warn the people around me.
ReplyDeleteLive and Learn: It's good to talk it out. But also good to let people know you're not in the mood to be nice.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I don't think I'm grumpy but I do tend to be overly serious and when I'm concentrating on doing something, don't appreciate interruptions. That's when hubby calls me grumpy. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDonna: Click for my 2025 A-Z Blog
Donna: I don't like interruptions when I'm doing something as well. So if I get a little testy when people interrupt, I think it's perfectly reasonable.

I'm usually grumpy when I'm hungry. The boyfriend has learned to make sure I've been fed if we're out and about.
ReplyDeleteAnne M Bray: That's me too. Hungry has a way of making a person less cordial. Isn't that where the expression hangry came from?
