"Blogging without coffee since 2006"
The above is a tagline I had wrote a while back and it's still true today because I'm not a coffee drinker. You'll never hear me say 'I like a cup of java.' Nope. Tea is more my kind of drink. I don't like the taste of coffee and only ever had one taste of it. Some might say I need more than one taste to judge but I think some food, once you taste it, you just know you don't like it. I think if I had tried coffee when I was teen or younger, I might had grew to like it but in a rebellious way because when people tell me to not like something, I go the opposite way.
How about you, are you a coffee drinker?
For tomorrow, the letter K, the choices are (1) kitchen, (2) knucklehead, (3) kerfuffle. Choose which word I might ramble about or tell a story.

I would love to see what you do with kerfuffle. I used to drink coffee (and enjoy it) but developed an allergy to it and gave it up at least twenty years ago. I now drink chai.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child: I guess that's a good reason to quit coffee. I haven't tried chai before as I like my tea plain.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I love your cat mug illustration! Yes, I'm a coffee drinker although I try to limit myself to 2 cups per day (first thing in the morning to kickstart the ol' bod, and then an afternoon cup to perk me up and get me through to bedtime without a nap). I vote for "kerfuffle" too!
ReplyDeleteDebra: I like cat coffee mugs so I included one here.
Delete2 cups sound so limited but I guess coffee can be too strong sometimes.
Thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
Jamie (jannghi.blogpot.com): Somehow coffee wasn't the first thing that came to mind when I saw "java." But I don't drink coffee either, so maybe that was why.
ReplyDeleteI pick "kerfuffle," too, even though I don't really know what that is.
Jamie: I couldn't think of more than two meanings to the word java - one is coffee and the other is script coding. I'm sure there are other meanings but I decided to go with the easier one.
DeleteKerfuffle according to the Merriam-Webster means 'a disturbance or commotion typically caused by a dispute or conflict.' I like the sound of the word so I chose it.

I don't drink coffee, either. I always say that when they make it taste as good as it smells, then I'll drink it.
ReplyDeleteI vote for "kerfuffle".
Live and Learn: I agreed with you, some coffee smells good but probably doesn't taste like it smell.

I have a large mug a day.

DeleteChristine: A large cup of coffee a day is probably not a bad idea.

A day isn't complete without coffee. It's been my theme for several years for the A to Z.
ReplyDeleteButtercup: I'm not a coffee drinker but I can say that's true for a lot of people. Coffee seems to be a lot of people's start of their day.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day
Coffee is one of the foods I would like to stop drinking,
ReplyDeletebut it is one of the very few pleasures I have in my life.
Be glad you like tea!!
For tomorrow the word kitchen
Have a nice weekend Lisa!!
Katerina: I don't think you should quit coffee since it makes you happy. Maybe just drink less? Though a tea drinker, I don't need it to start my day.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
Gave me a chuckle because mine would be "Blogging with coffee since 2006". LOL! My latest is cappoccino made at home, 2-3 a day. Yummy! I love my British teas once in a while, too.
ReplyDeleteDonna: Click for my 2025 A-Z Blog
Donna B. McNicol: I guess you're the opposite of me. I do like cream in my tea.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I do like to start my day with a cup of coffee, but after that, it's all herbal teas. Love the tagline!
ReplyDeleteSamantha@WLABB: Coffee and then herbal tea? I guess that's a good combination.
