I don't do resolutions but I like the idea and also having something written (or posted) sort of makes you think you can do them. So I made a list of things I might, maybe, do:
01 - Blog more, bitch less or Bitch more, blog less
02 - Figure out how to squeeze 15 more hours into each day
03 - Be 1% less lazy
04 - Enjoy existing
05 - Realize no matter what I do, I can't change the way I am
06 - Stop lying to myself about liking doing the laundry
07 - Watch less youtube by at least 0.000001%
08 - Do some exercise other than staring at a screen
09 - Read more blogs
10 - Be 1.5% more busy
Is there anything you want or going to do this year?
That's a great list of "New Year's Suggestions!"
ReplyDeleteDebra: Yes, exactly. They are suggestions. I probably won't do them, at least, I won't try too hard to do them.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
Good list I don't make resolutions myself
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: Thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
DeleteI hope to keep on keeping on. No resolutions here. I fail quite often enough without them.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child: Same here. I think it's better not to make resolutions, just make list of things you might want to do but under no obligations to do them.
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I love lists of positive things I can do!
ReplyDeleteYours is quite optimistic and positive,
you will only do good if you try!
Good luck!!๐งก
Katerina: I don't know if they are optimistic but they cheer me up just writing them.

"Blog more, bitch less or Bitch more, blog less"
ReplyDelete๐
They seem all doable LOL. Especially the YouTube one...that's a percentage you can manage, I'm sure ๐. Oh, wait, N°2 is not so doable. Then again, I'm sure if I had 15 more hours in my days, I'd waste them nevertheless...
Roberta: Yeah, that one is the moody me speaking but it's absolutely true. I blog so I don't complain or I complain and then I blog.
Delete#2 - it didn't matter if you waste those hours because why not?
Thank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
I would love to reduce my TBR rather than increase but ...
ReplyDeleteMarianne: Good luck with that but I think it would not be easy since new books keep coming out...
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
That's exactly my problem. And recommendations of older books by others. LOL
DeleteIf you figure out how to do #2 let me know! I could use a few more minutes in my own days. ;D
ReplyDeleteLark: I would definitely let know if I succeed with #2. I'm sure we could all use more time...
DeleteThank you for coming by. Have a lovely day.
Anonymously Esther O'Neill, IWSG, East of the Sun., and still, in 2025, with no signal. No wionder Google doesn't believe this, or that I can't pick up security texts.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. 1% less lazy ? Not exactly, but maybe too keen on energetic activity . Write while climbing hills ?
Esther O'Neill: Write while climbing hills sounds okay but probably exhausting but at least, I would be doing something.
