It had become a habit to dedicate October as a month to draw something so that's what I'm going to do again. Last year, I had a theme so this time, the theme is witches, mainly, cat witches. These are students with a few teachers of the Sisterhood of Magical & Culinary Arts - a traveling school for magic, mayhem & culinary - at least, that's what I came up with. Here is the first one which I sort based her on Matilda by Roald Dahl.
Name: Matila Elizabeth Waterbaker
Age: 12 & 1/4
Loves: Discovering boring things about the universe through books and information curated by the librarians of the world, chocolate, riding her bicycle
Hates: School works, walking in the rain with wet socks, people who do not mind their manners
Ability: Moves things with her mind
Curious Tidbit: Matila was once an apprentice to a haughty librarian who turned Matila into a mouse for a week.
What are you doing this October?

I don't think I've seen a cat-witch before. I like it!
ReplyDeleteLive and Learn: Cat witches, I suppose they are much the same as regular witches.

ReplyDeleteJamie: Thank you. And thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day.
DeleteWhat a fun October tradition! It's been ages since I sat down to draw something just for fun. My daughter would LOVE this. (Cats are her favorite.)
ReplyDeleteCrystal Collier: It's not much a tradition but I guess it could be in a way. I hope she likes my cat witches.

You are fab! I'm just doing the Inktober challenge, not in real ink, but fibre pens ... my only jar of real ink is jade green ;)
ReplyDeleteCharlotte: I don't use real ink either, just pencils and digital tools.
DeleteThank you for dropping by. Have a lovely day.
What am I doing? Staying inside a lot and wishing the pollen months were over already.
ReplyDeleteRiver: I hope you're having a pollen-free month.
