Blogging from A-Z Challenge 2026: Theme Reveal

After much over thinking, I decided to do the Blogging from A to Z Challenge again this year. This is my 11th time doing the A-Z challenge so I should be some sort of expert at this, right? Nope. I usually just go with whatever I thought up.
This week, we are to reveal our theme (if we have one) for the challenge. I've decided to use a theme this year and my theme is Blogging with a Side of Ramblings and Short Fiction. Maybe that's not much of a theme since that's what I usually do for the challenge except I don't think I do much talking about blogging. I don't know how it will go since I don't pre-write my post (aside from the first post) and I'm a moody creature so I could end up doing more ramblings and less about blogging. Mostly, I just wing it. I'm not a planner and I don't seem to be good at following plans even if I make them.
Even after doing the challenge so many times, I still think it's a good challenge for any blogger. As I said in my previous post, the A-Z Challenge can really test a blogger's stamina and their blogging brain. Writing 26 posts is daunting even if you have a theme or even if you have more than a month. If you're like me and don't pre-write your posts, it's a real challenge.
Good luck to those who will be participating. More about the A-Z Challenge over here.

Are you participating in the A-Z Challenge this year?

  4. I will probably be participating, but as I think once is enough, I'll just do the official challenge sign up.
This "sign up twice" bothers me a bit ;) ... and I have not thought up a theme yet. I think one of the challenges here is to sit down each day and write the day's post, so I'll most certainly be winging it too.

    1. Charlotte: I don't care for the sign up twice either so I'll just sign onto the theme list and not bother with the master list - way too many categories to fill out. Good luck if you're participating.

Thank you for dropping by. Have a lovely day.

  5. I’m all for winging it. This is my 11th year. I always like to challenge myself. Though writing multiple short stories and keeping them alphabetically consecutive so that people will be able to read some of them and not have to wait and jump around the letters to get the whole story of whichever one they start, is more challenging for me this year, than ever before. Looking forward to following this one.

    1. Harvey Heilbrun: I haven't try writing a story that encompasses 26 letters so, yeah, that sounds hard. I thought you were just writing stories and not connect them. Good luck with the challenge.

Thank you for dropping by. Have a lovely day.
